Frequently asked questions
Licenses and formalities
01

What conditions must I meet to obtain an international (community) license?

add

To get an international license from GITD, you must already hold a Polish domestic transport license. At InfaDrive, we guide you through the full licensing path. We help get clean criminal records (KRK) for company managers, find a legal transport base (parking/garage), assign a transport manager with a CPC certificate, and purchase the required professional financial liability insurance (OCZ).

02

I do not have a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Can I open a transport company?

add

Yes, you can. Transport laws require that at least one person managing transport in the company holds this certificate. As part of our services, we offer the support of a certified transport manager (official lending of a CPC / ÜDY certificate) and handle all responsibilities for reporting this to the official registers.

03

What is the difference between a transport license and a freight forwarding license?

add

A transport license (domestic/international) allows you to physically transport goods using your own fleet of trucks. On the other hand, a freight forwarding license (TİO) is a license for brokerage, logistics organization, and selling freight. We handle applications for both – at local transport offices (Wydział Komunikacji) and directly at GITD in Warsaw.

Infrastructure and operations
01

What does the requirement to have a transport base mean and how can you help?

add

Every transport operator in Poland must have a proper parking space for trucks (baza transportowa) that meets legal standards. We offer finding, organizing, reporting to the ministry, or changing the address of your transport base, ensuring your documents pass official checks without problems.

02

How fast is the vehicle registration process when done by you?

add

We use a fast-track registration process. We handle both truck tractors and semi-trailers (trailers) in the transport offices responsible for your company's KRS address. We also handle emergencies, like replacing lost or stolen license plates and registration books quickly.

Drivers and insurance
01

What does the process of reporting drivers in the IMI system look like when hiring foreign nationals?

add

We act immediately because we know that in transport, time is money. Full management of driver postings in the European IMI system is linked directly with the EU Driver Attestation (Świadectwo Kierowcy). We submit the IMI posting on the exact same day we apply for the Driver Attestation, avoiding truck downtime.

02

What insurance do I need to legally run a business?

add

To get your license, you must prove financial standing, which is usually done through professional liability insurance (OCZ). For full security of cargo and trucks, we arrange carrier liability (CMR / OCP) policies, vehicle insurance (Third-Party/Comprehensive, Green Card, Accident cover) and help you order company tachograph cards.

Cooperation with InfaDrive
01

How much does comprehensive service for my fleet cost?

add

We look at each business individually, because costs depend on your fleet size and the specific documents you need. Our cooperation always starts with a free consultation to analyze your company's requirements. Then you receive a custom action plan and fixed pricing with no hidden fees.

02

How quickly do you start acting after the agreement?

add

We act immediately. After accepting the plan and price, we take over all document paperwork and launch official procedures in express mode to protect your company from transport inspection fines.
